£11.37 per hour includes £1.61 per hour holiday pay

The Distance Learning Unit continues to develop the range of accredited qualifications on offer to an increasing number of learners nationally.
We are looking to appoint qualified assessors/script markers to our casual employee team for the following courses
• Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills
• Level2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health
• Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Common Childhood Illnesses
• Level 2 Certificate Dyslexia and other Specific Learning Difficulties
Working from home, you will be allocated learners’ assessments to electronically assess against specified learning outcomes for the course. You are required to provide detailed and developmental feedback within agreed timescales to keep learners engaged and motivated to succeed.
You must have a teaching/assessor qualification and a minimum Level 3 professional qualification and occupational experience for the course you would like to assess.
Ideally, you will be available to mark approximately 15hrs a week or more. Please note that due to a local quality assurance agreement you must not be working in another capacity for more than 22 hours to be available for marking up to 15 hrs in this role.
