We are looking for a committed and dynamic Individuals to join Scarborough TEC’s Casual Bank at an exciting moment in its development. The College has moved to a new campus, alongside a rebranding exercise that has seen Yorkshire Coast College become Scarborough TEC.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, organised, efficient and capable of dealing with the complexities of working within a fast paced Higher and Further Education setting.
Keen, caring individuals are needed to join our team of Learning Support Practitioners on a casual basis to support our students in one to one and group situations to help them to succeed in their chosen learning programmes.
Experience of working with people with learning support needs would be an advantage and a knowledge of health and social issues that may affect learning is essential.
Applicants must have Literacy/Mumeracy Level 2 or equivalent or currently enrolled on Literacy/Numeracy level 2 qualification or equivalent and to be achieved within 6 months of appointment and must have a Level 2 recognised qualification in Additional Learning Support or equivalent e.g City & Guilds, Ptlls, Cert Ed, PGCE.
