Student Recruitment Officer

Reports to: IS Manager

Based in beautiful Scarborough on the North Yorkshire Coast, Scarborough TEC is a small friendly College, which is part of the TEC Partnership, a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation, providing a wide range of educational opportunities to learners in Scarborough and the surrounding area. We are officially the only outstanding provider of Further Education in Scarborough.

Scarborough TEC are looking for a Student Recruitment Officer to work in our small but efficient Admissions Team. This is an exciting position that will see you out visiting schools promoting Scarborough TEC as a great next step for young people in the local area. You will then also be responsible for processing all the applications that are generated, to ensure that prospective students have an excellent admissions process.

The Student Recruitment Officer will be a key person for supporting the Student’s admission journey, being their key point of contact from Day One until Induction Day, finding different ‘keep warm’ activities and working with students and tutors to ensure they are on the right course from the beginning of their College experience.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual, to be the face of Scarborough TEC within the local Schools, so, if you would like to be the link supporting students in the Further Education and with their career choices, then Scarborough TEC has just the opportunity that you are looking for.
