The Grimsby Institute Campus are currently seeking to recruit a motivated and passionate individual who has the desire to support young people improve the chances of employment post education and to develop the essential skills, knowledge and attributes  throughout their programmes of study with us. The successful post holder in this role will ensure that students within our Business and Visitor Economy and Foundations and Working Life curriculum areas have meaningful work experience organised as part of their studies,  for students who cannot access external placements the successful candidate will ensure work related learning opportunities are provided.

 

Ideally candidates should come from a retail, hospitality, travel or managerial background due to the vocational subjects of the students they will be supporting but this is not essential and all applications will be considered

 

This role has overarching responsibility for the success of employability programmes and work experience within the Faculty of Commercial Enterprise, consequently this requires the co-ordination of other skills trainers within the faculty, so an effective organiser who is process driven as well as being an effective communicator would be essential for success within this role.
