Learning Technologist – Ref:17/380
37 hours per week
The Grimsby Institute Group is a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation. We are officially an “outstanding” educational provider.
Working as part of the Innovate team, this role will require you to promote and deliver a range of technology-enhanced learning methodologies and resources via our award winning Level Up staff development initiative.
You will also work with subject experts to build digital competencies and innovative practices, and create, design and promote engaging and effective digital learning content and e-learning courses.
You will establish learning aims and requirements, identify learning objectives, write storyboards and use creative development tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Captivate, and Articulate Storyline. You will have a good knowledge of learning principles and theories with the ability to apply these practices to content design including the concept of Scheduled Online Learning and Assessment (SOLA).
In addition, you will be responsible for meeting with subject matter experts and other stakeholders, driving projects from initial concept through to development and timely completion.
